Information we collect
- Account and authentication data, including display name, email address, account ID, sign-in events and password-reset or email-confirmation activity. We do not see your password.
- Study data, including session choices, selected answers, scores, timing settings, progress, revision schedules, bookmarks and study preferences.
- Purchase and access data, including plan duration, GBP base price, amount and currency paid, tax amount, declared country of residence, billing country, selected standard or Managed Payments route, access dates, checkout-consent evidence, purchase-confirmation status and Stripe transaction, customer and payment references.
- Support and content-quality data, including messages, question reports, issue type, linked question and session references, reporting account, timestamps and resolution records.
- Limited technical diagnostics, such as the page route and error context, when the hosting environment's operational error reporting is available.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- Contract: to create and secure your account, provide the trial or paid service, save your work, process access and respond to service requests.
- Legitimate interests: to operate and improve a secure question bank, investigate errors and misuse, support learners and understand aggregate platform performance. We consider the impact on users before relying on this basis.
- Legal obligation: to keep records needed for accounting, tax, consumer protection, fraud prevention and responding to lawful requests.
- Consent: only where we ask for a separate optional choice. The current site does not use consent for essential account or service processing.
Payments
For UK-resident purchases, Stripe processes payment information on behalf of BELMAR RADIOLOGY LIMITED, which is the seller. For non-UK purchases routed through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe/Link acts as merchant of record for the transaction and handles payment, applicable transaction tax, payment presentation and the transaction receipt.
Stripe collects the billing address and payment information. We do not store your full card number or security code. We receive the declared country, billing country, selected payment route, amount, currency, tax, identifiers and payment status needed to match a paid purchase to your account, grant access, prevent duplicates, keep accounting evidence and handle payment enquiries.
Service providers and recipients
We use Supabase for database, account authentication and related transactional account emails; Stripe for UK payment processing and non-UK Managed Payments merchant-of-record services; and Lovable's hosting environment for delivery and limited operational error reporting. The site also requests its display fonts from Google Fonts.
We may disclose limited information to professional advisers, insurers, courts, regulators, law enforcement or another buyer of the business where reasonably necessary and lawful. We do not sell personal information.
First-party acquisition measurement
We use a limited first-party funnel to understand whether public guides, free stems and the free mock lead to account creation, checkout and purchase. This helps us improve the candidate journey and assess which educational pages are useful.
- Events are restricted to defined stages such as guide CTA, free mock, checkout and purchase.
- We may record a page path, destination path, referring hostname and URL campaign parameters.
- We do not store IP addresses, full referrer URLs, browser fingerprints, user agents, email addresses or free-text learner content in this feature.
- Anonymous public activity is reported separately from authenticated conversions.
- URL attribution may be associated with an account at sign-up or checkout so first-touch source and landing page can be assessed.
- Raw funnel-event records are retained for up to 13 months; account attribution is deleted with the account.
- We do not use third-party advertising pixels for this measurement.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating, measuring and improving the service proportionately. This purpose-limited feature is not used to create a cross-site behavioural profile.
Emails, analytics and AI
- The current site sends account-service messages such as account confirmation and password reset. Stripe/Link may also send transaction receipts or other payment communications according to the route used at checkout.
- There is no newsletter sign-up or marketing-email system in the current learner website. We will not treat an account email as marketing consent.
- The current site does not load advertising, behavioural analytics or social-media tracking tools.
- The current learner service does not send your answers, reports or account data to a generative-AI assistant or model.
International processing
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we expect the relevant provider or contract to use an adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard. Contact us if you would like information about the safeguard relevant to a particular provider.
How long we keep information
- Account and study records are generally kept while your account remains open and for a limited period afterwards where needed to restore, secure or close the service.
- Contract, payment and accounting records may be kept for up to six years after the relevant transaction or relationship where needed for legal, tax or dispute records.
- Support and question-report records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the issue, maintain a correction trail and deal with related claims.
- Security logs, backups and operational diagnostics are kept for limited provider or incident-response periods and are then deleted or overwritten.
Security
We use access controls, authenticated database policies, server-side payment verification and restricted administrator functions designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Cookies and browser storage
Supabase uses essential local browser storage to keep signed-in sessions working. The active site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Read the Cookie Notice for the current storage audit and browser controls.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
The platform does not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Practice scores and revision schedules are automated study features, not decisions about your rights or access.
Email belmar.radiology@gmail.com to exercise a right or raise a concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We will update the effective date and version when this notice changes. If a change is material to how existing account information is used, we will provide an appropriate additional notice through the service or by email.
